Tool traceability: location, use and status

Identify each tool and connect its location, user and inspection, calibration or maintenance status.

Tool traceability: location, use and status
Anonymised document. Example screens and data do not identify an installation or demonstrate measured results.

Identification and context

A unique QR code gives access to the tool and its records. Fields adapt to the work: date, time, building, line, location and operators. Queries show availability and help reconstruct use.

Inspections and alerts

Tracking covers inspection, verification, calibration and maintenance. Data helps review delays, organise workloads and generate alerts. Connections to MES and other applications are defined within the project.

Reported experience and its limits

The document reports almost 50% improvement in record normalisation and 30% of tools identified with a warning. The 30% is a finding, not a reduction in issues or savings. Sample size and period are not specified; these figures are not a promise of results.
